I would say that the Trailer Park spirit was really high when this special, Say Goodnight To The Bad Buys, came out. The release date was December 7, 2008, and the cold winter days ushered in some real great nights of absolute fun.
This was after season 7 got over and there are some classic moments here. Lahey riding on the lawn mower is pure gold I would say!
Something in a nutshell
The idea was to create something just for the TV stuff and the best part is that there were no advertising breaks.
There are similarities in the storyline. You will find that in most starting episodes the characters discover that their fortunes are lost and there is a need to get back into a life of crime.
Randy and Lahey are constantly planning to score heavily against the boys and bring about their downfall. It would not be wrong to say that this special comes as a compressed version previous storyline.
More than the storyline
For most Trailer Park Boys fans, the main aspect revolves around the manner in which the boys tackle their problems. This is where you find the subtle aspects of personalities coming out in open.
