Trailer Park Boys – The Comedy Series
Before, jumping into what Jacob Collins does, a little information on the series seems relevant here. The series released in 2001 and ran for several seasons. The show is about the showdowns and adventures of a group of trailer park residents. Many of the residents are ex-convicts.
The trailer park happens to be in fictional Sunnyvale, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. A film trilogy follows in 2006 named ‘The Movie’. ‘Countdown to Liquor Day’ was released in 2006, and the last of the trilogy, ‘Don’t Legalize It’, was released in 2014.
The initial episodes revolve around the park residents Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles, earning through petty crimes. The partners in crime try to avoid the police. However, the team’s plans are thwarted by the alcoholic supervisor of the park Jim Lahey and his assistant, Randy.
Throughout the series, the boys are in and out of the prison. Each character adds a flavor to the series. Fans have met several minor characters as well. Jacob Collins appears in several unimportant roles in the series initially. That was until, he started living at the trailer park with his dad. Collins gets fired from various jobs, throughout. The latest instance, when Collins loses his job is when his store gets robbed by Ricky and Julian. The various positions, that Jacob Collins holds initially are as:

The Plot Starring Jacob Collins in The Main Lead
Jacob Collins starts copying Julian in the preceding episodes of the series, from season 7. Jacob idolizes Julian like a small puppy. He drinks the way he drinks, he smokes the way he smokes, and so on.
However, they are unaware that they would become the scapegoats, if Julian faces any danger due to his deeds. Ricky grooms two other local boys and Collins, to work on ‘The Swayzie Express’. The boys are tasked with the responsibility to lay the tracks near the Canada/ U.S. borders in the forest area.
Julian feels great about the fact, that Collins idolizes him. In the process, he gets a bit attached to him. However, Ricky always reminds him, that the boys are a sort of jail cover for them. However, soon, Julian refuses to let the boys down.
The boys along with Jacob live on cereals, wild berries, and licorice. However, they complete the task. Later, they are on the verge of succumbing to their fate. Julian rescues them at the last moment.
In the latter episodes, Collins gets romantic with Sarah. He also gets involved in the ‘Country Dirt Dancing’ operation. Collins works at the entrance, though. And the only time he faces arrest is when he sells liquor without any license, along with his father.
In ‘Don’t Legalize It’, he begins his military career. He appears in the movie in a camouflage uniform. However, he was also part of a crime, involved with Julian. Wherein, he sells urine from his army base. It leads to his discharge on disciplinary grounds.
Jacob Collins’ Life from Season 8 Onwards
Later, Collins is again seen in Sunnyvale trailer park. Jacob works for Julian, and Cory for Ricky. Collins also gets Trinity, Ricky’s daughter pregnant. Throughout the season, Jacob Collins tries to prove to Ricky, how good a father he will be. Ricky starts considering him as a part of the family.
In Season 9, Trinity gives birth to a baby boy. They name him, Ray. Jacob Collins asks for permission from Trinity’s father, Ricky to propose to her. He eventually proposes with a Cubic Zirconium, before getting arrested for some crime. Cory becomes Jacob’s best man.
Season 13 started in 2021, with a bang. Fans were able to catch up on the ten episodes of misadventures.
