If you have watched the first episode of Season 1 try having a closer observation into the cast. You will find Phil Collins lurking somewhere in the background. In one scene he is part of the crowd.
He has a big gut for sure and that is what becomes the first attraction point for many viewers. He once played the role of a manager of a motel and the boys decided to take out some furniture from his place.
Once Ricky used him a protection ( body shield ) so as to save himself from Sam Losco.
You can also find Collins playing the role of a taxi driver. So in short, he was the man for all occasions.

He can belch alright! You can find some real force of nature when Phil Collins does that! This is perhaps why the makers want to show this off in numerous scenes. The belly size is something one cannot ignore and from you can understand why the man chose to start the venture ” The Dirty Burger”.
Trailer park residents who happen to be around when the man is belching often complain that the smell is unbearable and sometimes there are food particles coming out of it. ( that is bad !)

Phil is mostly in good moods and stays away from crime. His money making involves legitimate ways and there is no shortage of employment opportunities. The only cause of concern is the inability to stay in one job. Hence it feels strange that he will oppose the boys and fall victim to their crimes when he can easily stay away and lead a peaceful life.
The one important point is that the park residents hold a negative view about the man and consider him as “greasy”. This comes from the characters poor hygiene skills and the sudden waves of anger. He once smashed Ricky’s car with a ladder.
On the family front he has two sons Thomas and Jacob and you can sense a genuine attitude of care.
On the professional front he teams up with Randy for the burger business which stems from their mutual love for the product. While there is lot of swearing around and criminal activity going on this man quietly goes about the business.
