Sam Losco in the Trailer Park Boys series appears as a resident with the tag of “general nuisance”. The role is played by Samuel Tarasco who is a former veterinarian on the show. Much to his dismay, the boys often call him out as a caveman which sums up the way his life shaped up in the park.
His is a black and blue shade kind of character and in several episodes we find him pitted against the boys.
For example, in Season 6, he kidnaps Ricky and holds him for ransom. His prominent role comes in Season 2 where he is the main opposition.
Sam Losco – A victim of the trio
One can consider Sam Losco as a pop in pop off kind of character. His veterinary experience is the first cause of contact with the trio as they call him to attend a dog who ate a plate of weed brownies.
And then the boys fail to understand the difference between veterinary knowledge and medical service as they use his help to treat Ricky’s gunshot wounds.
Eventually Losco loses his veterinary license because the boys actually misuse his knowledge in the medical field. As he is out of work Sam starts living in the trailer park. A strange turn of events make his life move in a downward fashion and he ends up living in nearby woods.
The boys refer to him as caveman and he does not like it. The tragedy assumes a comical vibe when Sam ultimately moves into a cave living life in the primitive fashion.
If you will watch the series right from Season 1 it would be clear that Sam’s misfortunes are not coming out of his deeds but more so because he is the close orbit of actions metted out by Ricky, Julian and Bubbles.
Hence it makes sense for the trailer park residents to stay out of their paths!
