Whatever may be the plop storyline regarding operation Freedom 35 in Trailer Park Boys, it is also a popular beer brand now. And the can suits the style of Bubbles, Ricky and Julian.

So what exactly was the Freedom 35 plan in Trailer Park Boys Series?

It is basically an operation to grow the dope secretly. Julian is the mastermind behind the project. They eventually sell the stocks to prison guards at a hefty price.

What is the motive behind all this? The boys want to retire from a crime infused life! Another point is that they want to do some social service.

The boys feel that the dope supplied in jails is of inferior quality and hence they are looking to improve the standards. That’s what you call service for the society!

Where does it all start?

trailer park boys season 1 and 2

The first glimpses are there in Season 2 episode 1.

The park is now a changed place and Julian is finding it hard to carry on the dope business. He then works out the Freedom 35 plan.

They start stealing stereos from the local mall so as to sell them to J-Roc and get the money to buy growing equipments.

And in Season 10 you will comes across something called Freedom 45! This is a plan to take control of the park.

The initial planning

Car stereos fund the operation during the initial phase but J-Roc doesn’t provide the kind of money that Julian needs.

Extra funds come via the illegal casino and night club ( the place actually was the trailer of J-Roc’s mother).

This a small time project that soon hit big. The location then shifted to Airstream for better security and control.

Actually, the operation scaled in an exponential manner ( bigger than expectations). Now the prison guards started calling and asking for more dope!

You might be thinking packets but the demands came in pounds.

At one point Julian inserted the materials in pens and delivered them straight inside the prison.

It takes hard work to execute such plans

The boys faced several issues and threats during the course of the operation.

Once Julian harvested the wrong dope clones and many plants had to be changed or removed. All in all, four extra weeks of hard work and loss.

In another episode Spider Mites infested the crops and there was a huge loss.

And then Hampton and Tanya ( posing as Bible salespeople) stole an entire lot but the boys were able to get back the consignment.
