Bubbles is no doubt a mercurial character. You would expect the energy to somewhat run down in real life.
But many would find it hard to believe that Mike Smith who plays Bubbles in Trailer Park Boys show got himself arrested on domestic battery charges.
It was a peaceful Friday morning in LA ( sometime in April 2016) but the press was extra energetic to reveal Mike Smith’s arrest.
The alleged place of action was the Roosevelt Hotel and the victim ( alleged) in the whole saga turned out to be Georgia Ling.
Smith denied the charges – There was no assault
As expected. there was a swift and quick denial. It is still seen as a case of friends who had an argument.
I am not going into the details of the case because it is outright difficult to find the truth in showbiz.
They had a loud argument and someone in the vicinity called the police. This is how the matter puts up right now.
The one good thing is that the Trailer Park Boys issued a statement in support of Smith. Well that’s how the boys support Bubbles!

Lucy DeCoutre who plays Lucy in the show announced her resignation on Twitter soon after this saga. But strangely, she deleted the tweet later.
If you really want to find out why Lucy left the TPB unit the best suggestion would be to leave the issue hands on. Showbiz is a world of possibilities and as they say ” The show must go on”.
Don’t be surprised if Lucy comes back to the show with her full flair and charm.
